Our client is a dynamic accounting and business consultancy firm with office in Kulai, Johor.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a HOD role which lead a team of assistant manager, senior executives and officers.
To report to the Director.
Oversee and manage all aspects of the accounting department's daily operations, encompassing financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, stock management, profit & loss and monthly management report.
Supervision of day-to-day accounting activities and to control, maintain and review overall accounting and financial reporting functions.
Lead initiatives to strengthen internal controls and enhance financial systems for efficiency and accuracy.
Provide guidance and mentorship to finance team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.Perform other related duties as assigned by the immediate superior from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Accounting or ACCA, CPA or its equivalent.
Over 3 years in a managerial role overseeing a team.
More than 5 years of experience in financial reporting and accounting.
Profound knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
