Our client is an established food manufacturing MNC located in Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
A regional role which leading Finance and IT departments in the APAC region.
Report to local GM and to group CFO.
Oversee accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring that all financial information is accurate, timely, and compliant with accounting standards and regulations
Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries
Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual account reconciliations
Handle of monthly accounting closing.
Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices
Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure that the company has enough cash on hand to meet its financial obligations
Working capital management
Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives includes creating budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and analysing financial statements.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, including tax laws, financial reporting requirements, and internal control procedures.
Managing an end-to-end audit process of current systems, liaise with auditors and tax agents.
Cooperate & liaise with banker, government authority department, tax department, and other stakeholder.
Master the lifecycle of an e-invoice, from creation and validation, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
local IT responsibility ensuring local business needs and local IT support is coordinated and taking care of in a close cooperation with Global IT.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Accounting, ACCA or its equivalent.
More than 10 years experience with 5 years in managerial role.
Familiar with ERP system.
