BIM Manager

COMPANY OVERVIEW
A construction company with presence across South East Asia specialize in providing comprehensive design, engineering, construction and project management services for design and build projects. Our client has successfuly completed over 385 significant projects in Malaysia, including semiconductor, data centre, commercial, industrial, and civil infrastructure projects.
They are looking for an experienced BIM Manager to be based in Kuala Lumpur  to be part of their Engineering department team.  

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the Engineering General Manager in preparing and reviewing structural, architectural, M&E shop drawings, and BIM models for the project.
• Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to construction projects, including BIM standards and protocols.
• Make sure client requirements specified in construction specifications, drawings, BIM models, and written instructions are met and communicated to the project team.
• Create presentation and preliminary drawings for projects, including BIM visualizations and clash detection reports.
• Supervise and manage BIM implementation throughout all project stages, ensuring BIM workflows and processes are integrated.
• Offer BIM insights and suggestions to improve processes and project efficiency.
• Oversea creation of 3D renderings and models using Revit, Twinmotion, and Lumion to support project design.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

1. Degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, MEP, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years experience in BIM execution planning, and drafting & coordination in Architectural / C&S Engineering work construction projects.
3. Proficient in Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
4. Willingness to work nationwide with accommodation provided and flexibility for working beyond regular hours when needed.
