Key Responsibilities for IT Data Engineer:
- Analyze and organize raw data.
- Design and develop data flows and data models.
- Create and manage systems and ETL pipelines.
- Interpret trends and patterns in the data.
- Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling.
- Develop algorithms and prototypes.
- Integrate raw information from various sources.
- Explore and implement improvements for data quality and reliability (including optimization and tuning of data flows).
- Develop analytical tools and programs.
- Collaborate with IT data architects on various projects.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for user service requests and incidents.
- Ensure data security compliance at all times.
- Write and maintain documentation.
- Evaluate the performance of applications and databases.
Key Requirements:
- Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in working with relational databases and query authoring (SQL), with familiarity in various database systems.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Demonstrated self-management and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
- Very good oral and written communication skills.
- Fluency in English.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Data Engineer or Data Analyst role.
- Experience with PowerBI report administration and development is a plus.
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning algorithms, concepts, and implementation is a plus.
