Project Leader, Due Diligence Project – UK based Due Diligent Company [Based at Malaysia]

Our UK-based due diligent client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Leader to join their team. The Project Leader will be responsible for leading a team of professionals in conducting due diligence activities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality work product and client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

 
  • Lead and manage a team of due diligence professionals to complete projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
  • Develop and implement project plans, allocate resources, monitor progress, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are understood and met.
  • Manage project risks, identify potential issues and develop contingency plans as required.
  • Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, provide feedback, coaching, and support for professional growth and development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive projects forward and ensure seamless execution.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, stakeholders, and management on project status and results.

Requirements:
 
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in due diligence/project management, and team leadership.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong project management skills, including experience with project planning and budgeting.
