A one stop solution centre for construction product goods is looking for QC Chemist to join the team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for quality compliance such as verifying that all processing follows strict regulation, identifying and addressing errors and omission to ensure company meets the requirement of ISO standards
Work closely with QC team in maintaining all QC document/ specification and ensure all document are well updated
Work closely with QC team on quality acceptance and communicate these decisions to department leaders so that they can support the company's goal and objective
Demonstrate continuous effort to improve department operations, decrease turnover times, streamline work process, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality internal and external customer service
Responsible to ensure all Lab equipment are well calibrated and provide support to staff by ensuring all the tools, equipment and application method are available and well maintained
Liaise with supplier for the colour matching progress and conduct colour / quality check to ensure colour matching meets customer's requirement
Ensure department leaders review and update their documents regularly
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Diploma/ Degree in Chemistry, Engineering or any Science discipline
At least 3 years' experience in Paint and Coating industry.
Solid QC Analysis experience is required.
Highly motivated person with strong drive to succeed and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Good knowledge and commitment to safety and health.
A team player who is organized and has sound knowledge on current and emerging lab best practices.
Computer literate
