Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain quality control systems to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
  • Supervise and train quality control team members, ensuring effective inspection processes.
  • Oversee inspection and testing of materials and products, managing tools and equipment maintenance.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and collaborate with other departments to address quality issues.
  • Ensure all quality control processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ISO, ASTM).
  • Stay updated on changes in regulations and implement necessary adjustments to QC processes.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality control within metal fabrication or a related manufacturing environment. At least 2-3 years in a supervisory/management role.
  • ASQ Certified Quality Manager, Six Sigma certificate, or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, materials, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMMs).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
