A global technology and manufacturing company of electronic components and provides architectural, engineering, and related services is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their team
Ensure all external and intercompany invoices are processed accurately and in accordance with company accounting policies.
Process and approve staff claims in line with company policies.
Timely and accurately process payments, ensuring zero tolerance for duplicate payments.
Responsible for performing monthly and yearly close for payables, including sub-ledger and general ledger reconciliation.
Ensure all liabilities are fully accounted for in accordance with the company’s closing procedures.
Accurately reconcile intercompany accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR).
Ensure smooth completion of month-end close for payables and receivables.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly financial and management reports.
Assist in preparing cash flow rolling forecasts.
Assist in implementing internal controls and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Assist in preparing reports and audit schedules for local compliance.
Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accountancy.
Have at least 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience in the manufacturing industry.
Experience with the SAP system is an added advantage.
Prior exposure to Sales and Services Tax and Withholding Tax.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
