A rapidly growing MNC in Penang is looking for Senior Commodity Manager to be part of their team. You will be leading a team to work on commodity strategies development with local and global team.
Job Responsibilities
- Support commodity team on price negotiation and localization initiative
- Monitor PPV and determine corresponding action if required
- Review BOM price and ensure the most competitive prices are being negotiated
- Lead member in qualification of new supplier process
- Setup new supplier including reviewing and negotiating on agreements
- Perform supplier risk assessment
Job Requirement
- At least 8 years of working experience in procurement including sourcing function in Contract Manufacturing especially in electronics manufacturing industry
- Good knowledge on distribution market or electronics material fabrication industry
- Strong negotiation skills and communication in English
