Tender Quantity Surveyor
Job Description
Formulate and define competitive service bids or estimates or quotations, considering best available product mix and appropriate technical and commercial considerations for each individual situation.
You ensure service tenders are well documented in a timely manner and with appropriate level of detail, including full and accurate costs.
Manages the preparation of all technical, financial, commercial, contractual and if necessary, project management aspects of the bid or estimate or quotation, indicating prices and trading conditions along with that manage internal and external stakeholders to support the bid preparation such as translations, governmental approvals and effort from other teams.
Identifies potential risks in estimates, bids, quotes, and related contract agreements with different clients or distribution channels to contributes information or takes part in the risk review assessment.
Builds and nurtures strong relationships with customers to comprehend their needs, support sales in ensuring the client have a great experience across the entire sales process, providing the required technical support.
Together with Supply Chain and the Engineering Teams, identifies potential vendors for equipment and materials required in the project and evaluates supplier offers from the technical and commercial point of view to match with specifications.
Key knowledge and experience:
Experience is ICT , software and Hardware will be advantage
Proven experience in a risk sharing alliance model would be advantageous in the role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Knowledge and experience of working on complex rail projects is preferrable.
Financial acumen and understanding of financial reports.
Previous experience in quantity surveying or similar skills would be considered an advantage.
Able to work within a team and adopt a proactive problem-solving approach.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying
Years of experience: At least 5-years of post-graduate experience
Knowledge/Skills: Good command of the English language (both verbal and written)
