OVERVIEW

A global group focused on sustainability and innovation with over 100 years of history and a presence in more than 100 countries, is seeking talent as an Accounts, Senior Executive to manage accounting functions related to the general ledger, financial reporting, audit support, and tax reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Manage and update the general ledger, ensuring compliance with financial policies and timely processing of transactions.
  • Oversee all local, head office, and statutory reporting, addressing inquiries and maintaining the chart of accounts in alignment with the financial model.
  • Conduct monthly financial analyses, support accounts receivable, accounts payable, and treasury functions, and prepare tax computations and schedules for corporate submissions.
  • Assist in month-end closing and year-end audit processes, ensuring accurate account reconciliations and collaboration with auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor fixed assets and ensure accounting entries comply with transaction plans
  • Contribute to finance system enhancements and projects, while identifying process improvement opportunities and performing additional tasks as needed.

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with relevant experience in accounting, auditing, or tax reporting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting systems, along with advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial management systems and processes, with the ability to design and maintain effective reporting tools. 
  • Excellent analytical skills for gathering, analyzing, and synthesizing financial data.
  • Familiarity with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of business operations to enhance performance through financial insights.
  • Meticulous approach to financial activities and reporting, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities to foster open dialogue and collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, with experience working in cross-functional teams and building strong relationships with colleagues and external partners.
