Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in maintaining and reconciling the general ledger accounts.
- Process invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure timely payments and collections.
- Support in preparing financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Enter and update financial data in accounting software and spreadsheets.
- Organize and file financial documents, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
- Liaise with Japanese-speaking clients, vendors, and internal teams to address financial inquiries and resolve issues.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with relevant accounting regulations and standards.
- Perform other accounting-related tasks as assigned by the senior accountant or finance manager.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken) is required; additional language skills are a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in both Japanese and English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
