Japanese Speaking Interpreter & Marketing Executive
Our client is a leading fitness-related company that originated in Japan and has expanded to over 200 stores worldwide. The company is renowned for its cutting-edge technology, which is highly regarded by athletes. In the near future, the company plans to open numerous new stores across Malaysia.
Responsibilities:
Provide interpretation in Japanese, English, and Malay
Assist with marketing activities during times when interpretation is not needed
Position Details:
Role: Interpreter and Marketing Assistant
Languages Required: Japanese, English, Malay
Japanese proficiency at N1 level or equivalent experience to perform interpretation duties
Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Work Schedule:
Primarily follows the Malaysian calendar
Weekend work may be required as needed
Travel: Occasional business trips to Japan and Singapore
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Japanese at N1 level or equivalent
Fluent in English and Malay
Experience in interpretation and a keen interest in marketing
Willingness to travel and work weekends when necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
No prior interpretation experience required
Strong communication skills
Interest in fitness
