Job Description:
- Provide interpretation between healthcare providers and Japanese-speaking patients during medical appointments, examinations, and discussions.
- Ensure clarity and accuracy in conveying medical information, instructions, and treatment plans.
- Maintain confidentiality and accurately document interpreted conversations in medical records.
- Assist in translating written medical documents, prescriptions, and discharge instructions as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
- Manage interactions with a courteous and professional demeanor.
- Demonstrate active listening skills and the ability to provide assistance in a friendly and empathetic manner.
- Understand and respond to the emotional and cultural needs of patients.
Job Requirements :
- Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Japanese (N2 and above) is essential.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both languages to accurately interpret medical information.
- Able to work in 24/7 rotating shift.
- Fully work from home.
- An understanding of medical terminology is crucial to effectively interpret conversations between healthcare professionals and patients.
- Familiarity with common medical conditions, treatments, and procedures is highly beneficial.
- Excellent customer service skills are essential for effectively managing interactions with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
