ODOO Software Engineer / Senior Information Technology Executive
Roles & Responsibilities
Will lead and participate in development projects and be involved in all development-related aspects of our technical and business operations
Take Initiatives for the required changes in software development process to manage overall quality
Develop applications/features that affect everyday life
Design and Develop ODOO apps (new module development and customization)
Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements
Follow best practices in Software development to ensure the readability and maintainability of the code
Re-use the features available in ODOO to fulfill the scope objectives
Create custom module in ODOO to meet the specific domain requirement
Follow source code checking process to maintain the code in Git Version Control
Oversee hardware infrastructure, including servers, networks, and workstations, ensuring high availability and performance.
Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance operational efficiency and data security.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT initiatives with business goals and support continuous improvement efforts.
Provide strategic guidance on technology investments and IT roadmap development to support future growth and scalability.
Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effective IT solutions and services.
Undertake special or ad-hoc tasks/ assignments/ project as and when required by Management from time to time
