Purchasing Officer
Japanese-based company in Bayan Lepas is looking for purchasing officer to be part of their team.
Job Responsibilities
- Sourcing New suppliers and Parts, Raw Material, Supply items, Indirect Parts, Essential and Non Essential item based on availability, necessity, better quality, and cost reduction.
- Request for quotes, negotiations for best price, Incoterm, Payment term, best MOQ and good quality. Submit comparisons for approval.
- Price comparisons /establishment & estimation on cost & price parameters and check forecast expected cost incurred or saving
- Tracking shipment /delivery to ensure arrival in time and shipment good condition
- Problem awareness especially in shipping document – inv, do customs form (triangle business) and provide suggestions or solution for documents matters
Job Requirement
- Minimum Diploma with at least 5 years of working experience in related role
- Capable in using Excel for analysis (PIVOT, Vlookup, etc)
- Good English communication
