R&D Engineer
Industry leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of high-performance magnetic components including RF chip inductors, power magnetics looking for talented local R&D Engineer for their new Singapore design center.
In this position, you will work in a multi-disciplinary, collaborative customer-focused environment to determine and translate customer needs into effective design solutions in our research and development department.
Job Descriptions:
- Experience in integrating vision systems with automated processes, motion control based on model data, mathematical modeling experience and creating software solutions.
• Work in a multi-discipline team to aid in the collection and validation of system requirements.
• Create automated inspection and guidance solutions using vision and other sensing technology.
• Create innovative technical concepts, ensure costing and schedule to successfully deliver the project.
• Maintain knowledge of new vision, automation and sensing technology.
• Detailed design specification generation.
• Provide internal and on-site integration support.
• Aid in the creation of test plans and documentation
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (Electrical / Electronics) from a recognized University/Institution.
- 3 to 6 years of industry relevant product design experience.
- Understanding & knowledge in AutoCAD Electrical.
- Experience with regulatory compliances (EMC) and industrial standards.
- Familiar with schematics capture / layout design tools and electronics measurement instruments (oscilloscope, data logger).
- Good understanding of product safety, environmental testing and EMC
- Strong knowledge of electronics fundamental and principles.
- Strong passion for product design.
