Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise company accounting policies, procedures, internal controls, financial reporting, auditor relations, and tax compliance at all levels.
- Create and maintain financial models for strategic planning and forecasting.
- Evaluate financial data and performance metrics to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Oversee the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to ensure accurate forecasts and budgets.
- Track budget performance and conduct variance analysis to identify cost optimization and revenue growth opportunities.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify and assess financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks, and implement mitigation controls.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, promoting professional growth and development.
- Take on additional roles and responsibilities as assigned by the company and immediate superior.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field; MBA or CPA credentials are highly preferred.
- Experience with a major public accounting firm is desirable.
- At least 15 years of experience in financial and management reporting within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and accounting policies.
- Proficiency in Windows-based PC software, especially Excel and Word.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and independently prioritize multiple projects.
- High attention to detail with a proven ability to drive and manage change.
