You will be a key part of helping the business to identify challenges to growth as it expands market share in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
Job Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Develop business, sales planning, and growth strategies; create sales proposals and maintain a pipeline of potential customers through networking and marketing activities.
- Competitor Awareness and Industry Participation: Stay informed about competitors and participate in industry associations.
- Internal Collaboration: Work with internal teams (engineering, product management) to develop proposals and present client solutions.
- Relationship & Account Management: Manage key accounts in the industrial automation industry; understand customer needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with Application Engineers for smooth project development and implementation, manage the sales process.
- Customer Engagement: Regularly engage with clients for upselling/cross-selling opportunities, coordinate with vendors and partners to develop customer base in selected vertical markets.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/degree in Engineering discipline (Mechatronics/Electrical).
- 1-3 years of sales experience in machining solutions, or industrial equipment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to travel within the assigned region and occasionally overseas.
