JOB DESCRIPTION

A Singapore based IT consultancy company with a presence in different nations is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive and grow their market presence in Malaysia providing ERP/SAP and other software solutions. This is a permanent hybrid, flexible working role that provides room for creativity and self-directed initiatives to meet organizational goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts by engaging with customers, end users, and partners to uncover and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Identify and explore potential business areas, developing tailored sales strategies for various offerings, including special promotions and events.
  • Contribute to business planning efforts by monitoring sales data, analyzing trends and demographics, and evaluating pricing strategies to meet performance objectives.
  • Leverage prospecting and networking abilities to respond to client inquiries about the benefits of products and services.
  • Support pre-sales activities, including delivering solution presentations, preparing proposals, and creating quotations.
  • Participate in trade shows and travel as needed to connect with clients.
  • Take on additional tasks to facilitate business expansion as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in IT sales, preferably in ERP or software solutions.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets, coupled with skills in sales, customer service, client relationship management.
  • Driven, target oriented, self-starters will find greater success in this role
  • Strong interpersonal communication in Malay and English.
  • Strong organizational, planning, research, analysis, people management, leadership, negotiation, and account development skills.
  • Working knowledge of channel management, product development knowledge, financial strategy, data tracking would be a plus.
