Finance Assistant Manager
Responsibility:
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts. Analyse variances and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Accounts Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls. Assist in the preparation for audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
- Team Support: Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Communication: Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support for various business initiatives.
- Support IT department on e-invoice project; especially user requirement study phase and attend meetings with customers and working closely with IT department.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting and similar package) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
