Finance Assistant Manager

 

Responsibility:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the development and monitoring of budgets and forecasts. Analyse variances and provide recommendations for improvements.
  3. Accounts Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
  4. Compliance and Controls: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls. Assist in the preparation for audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
  6. Team Support: Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and professional development.
  7. Communication: Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and provide support for various business initiatives.
  8. Support IT department on e-invoice project; especially user requirement study phase and attend meetings with customers and working closely with IT department.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 
  2. Experience: Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role.

Skills:

  1. Strong knowledge of financial principles and practices.
  2. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SQL Accounting and similar package) and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  3. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
