Job responsibilities

  • Equipment life cycle management
  • Develop maintenance strategies for factory equipment and electrical systems, including preventive maintenance (PM) plans and annual overhaul plans for key equipment, to ensure the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) is ≥85%1.
  • Lead the inspection of safety hazards in high-voltage electrical systems (such as 380V power lines), establish the "Electrical Safety Operation Specifications", and achieve an annual electric shock accident rate of 0 and a fire hazard closure rate of 100%.
  • Spare parts management and cost control
  • Based on equipment operation data (such as PLC fault code statistics), the life cycle of wearing parts (such as motor bearings and belts) is predicted, and a safety inventory model (such as the ABC classification method) is developed to ensure that the timely supply rate of spare parts is ≥ 95%12.
  • Optimize maintenance budget allocation and achieve an annual maintenance cost reduction of ≥ 8%2 through centralized supplier procurement and localized alternative solutions.
  • Team capacity building and supervision
  • Design a training system for production line team leaders (such as equipment inspection and lubrication and maintenance SOPs), organize practical assessments every quarter to ensure autonomous maintenance execution by the team, establish a maintenance team skill matrix (such as inverter commissioning, mechanical transmission maintenance), annual average technical training for each person is ≥40 hours, and the certification rate for core positions (such as high-voltage electrician certification) is 100%12.

Qualifications

  • Educational background: Bachelor degree or above, major in mechanical engineering, electrical automation, familiar with ISO 13849 machinery safety standards
  • Experience requirements: More than 8 years of experience in equipment management in the automotive parts industry, has led the operation and maintenance of ≥2 automated production lines, and is familiar with local equipment in Malaysia.
  • Skills: Master TPM management tools and CMMS systems (such as Fiix), and have the ability to write technical documents in English
