Principal duties
Plan and Schedule Maintenance: Oversee all maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime. Inspect Equipment: Regularly inspect plant machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues. Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance operations adhere to safety protocols and procedures. Team Management: Lead, supervise, and train the maintenance team to ensure effective performance. Budget Management: Manage the maintenance budget and ensure cost-effectiveness. Record Keeping: Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work conducted. Coordination: Work closely with other departments for shutdowns and startups.
Secondary duties
Procurement: Procure necessary equipment, tools, and supplies for maintenance work. Productivity Improvement: Implement measures to improve productivity and efficiency of the plant. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in collaboration with quality assurance.
