Principal duties |
- Plan and Schedule Maintenance: Oversee all maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
- Inspect Equipment: Regularly inspect plant machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure all maintenance operations adhere to safety protocols and procedures.
- Team Management: Lead, supervise, and train the maintenance team to ensure effective performance.
- Budget Management: Manage the maintenance budget and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of all maintenance and repair work conducted.
- Coordination: Work closely with other departments for shutdowns and startups.
Secondary duties - Procurement: Procure necessary equipment, tools, and supplies for maintenance work.
- Productivity Improvement: Implement measures to improve productivity and efficiency of the plant.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards in collaboration with quality assurance.
