Our client, Oil & Gas based company, is looking for experience Electrical & Instrument Engineer
Reponsibilities
Responsible for the reliability and safe maintenance practices of ASU E&I equipment including HV/MV/LV switchgear, transformers & motors, heaters, UPS systems, variable frequency drives, earthing network, instrumentation, SIL loops, analyzers, control valves & metering systems.
Supports implementation, management, and optimization of PGSSB Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), SAP, for aforementioned E&I equipment.
Supports the maintenance planning and scheduling processes of preventative and corrective maintenance to maximize E&I equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Develops E&I reliability and maintenance documentation and owns this process.
Leads introduction of E&I maintenance-related initiatives to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency of ASU assets.
Uses E&I knowledge to support troubleshooting associated with process upsets or unplanned shutdowns.
Supervises and/or performs E&I maintenance tasks conducted by the ASU E&I reliability team or external contractors as and when required.
Supports site audits and RCFA activities. Is responsible for and closes out allocated corrective actions from such activities.
Supports annual maintenance budgeting processes and achieves targets.
Identifies and proposes safety, reliability, and efficiency improvement projects lead scope development and business case approval (as applicable), and leads the execution of projects
Supports the development of ASU turnaround scope and turnaround execution planning from an E&I perspective. Manages execution of E&I turnaround scope.
Supports ASU spare parts processes, including MRP, warehouse management, and stocktake for E&I equipment.
Works with PGSSB Supply Chain Manager to identify and engage new E&I goods and services suppliers. Successfully supports ongoing relationships with suppliers.
Leads the implementation of predictive and condition-based E&I maintenance practices into ASU, including thermography, partial discharge monitoring, transformer oil analysis.
Ensures function testing and calibration of E&I equipment is completed within the allocated time frame.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
5 years of operations and maintenance experience in ASU or related continuous processing plant environment
Experience with CMMS systems, preferably SAP PM
