Responsibilities
- Establish and manage stakeholder relationships and expectations; resolve conflicting stakeholder positions efficiently and effectively.
- Partner with GWS leaders on the effective management of real estate assets to ensure sites are fully utilized, reviewing costs and key transactional dates.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure effective service delivery.
- Ensure sites meet required health and safety standards and comply with local requirements.
- Support M&A Integration Activities.
- Assist with requirements of lease activities in partnership with the Senior Manager, Global/Regional Workplace Solutions.
- Participate and track site projects to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
- Advise on facility audit issues for the team and work with contractors for corrective actions.
- Support special projects and activities such as Sustainability, Accessibility, and Inclusion/Diversity
- Work with Corporate Communications on any required site announcements.
- Provide input to quarterly/annual operating and capital plans and forecasts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
- 8-12 years of Facility or Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
- Major knowledge emphasis in mechanical, electrical, civil, and/or architectural building skills
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, and negotiating skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of PC applications, including CAD
