A leading MNC in the Retail FMCG industry located in Malaysia is looking for an Operation Assistant Manager of International Warehouse and Distribution, to handle the operations of their warehouses across different countries.

 

Main Responsibilities of the Operation Assistant Manager role:

  • Provide directions and guidance to international warehouse subordinates in establishing daily routine job function and reporting methods. 

  • Support managers and stakeholders in all aspects of daily operations to achieve supply chain business results.

  • Support system troubleshooting in the international warehouse and ensure smooth operation. 

  • Guide and mentor the local warehouse team pertaining to any reporting and new project implementations such as warehouse shifting, new warehouse setup, stock take etc.

  • Analyse international warehouse distribution performance, capacity vs forecast planning and propose changes in operations.

  • Collaborate and coordinate with the local warehouse manager in new project implementations and changes in warehouse processes.

  • Review work processes and suggest appropriate solutions to the warehouse team when issues arise.

  • Oversee the delivery of projects and make adjustments aligned with specifications and high standards.     

  • Travel internationally to support the new warehouse setup, expansions projects and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned. 

     

Key Requirements:

  • MALAYSIAN ONLY

  • Minimum 4-5 years relevant experience in warehouse operations.  

  • Ability to identify issues in the work process and make improvements.

  • Excellent in leadership, organisation, analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Operational and strategic planning experience. 

  • Proficient in spoken and written English (Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage).
