Our client is an international trading, domestic wholesaling, and distribution company in the automotive industry. They are currently looking for a Senior Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment and machinery to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repair.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preventive maintenance machine : Daily checking, 6 months maintenance and yearly maintenance
- Identify and implement improvement maintenance in order to prolong the life span of the equipment
- Responsible for machine start-up, product trial and mass production
- Align, adjust and calibrate machines according to specifications
- Maintenance project : Wiring installation, machine installation and dismantle, Spare part control
- Analyzes machine problems by using troubleshooting techniques, repair manuals, drawings or manufacturers specifications to determine logical approach to correct the problem
- Identify, analysis, and implement preventive maintenance to avoid re-occurrence of breakdown or minimize unplanned down time
- Test electrical circuits and components to locate defects
- Responsible for housekeeping, maintenance tools and storage of equipment. Optimize spare part requirement so that the spare parts are available whenever the needs arise with minimum inventory cost
- Recommend respective engineer / superior with positive suggestions and ideas to modify and upgrade the equipment's
- Report to engineer / superior regarding all maintenance issues such as repair, upgrade, machinery, spare part, etc
- Handle maintenance issues including on call and work late (if required)
- Any other assignments as requested
Requirements:
- Minimum certification in a relevant field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in Techncian.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in preventive maintenance procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze machine problems and determine effective solutions.
- Experience in machine start-up, product trials, and overseeing mass production.
- Competency in aligning, adjusting, and calibrating machines according to specifications.
- Proficient in managing maintenance projects such as wiring installation, machine setup, and dismantling.
- Demonstrated capability in controlling spare parts inventory and optimizing spare part requirements.
- Effective communication skills to provide suggestions for equipment modification and upgrades.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, reporting maintenance issues and recommendations to engineers or superiors.
- Availability for on-call duty and willingness to work late hours if required.
