Senior Procurement Officer
A European based company looking for sourcing and procurement professional to be part of their new project (ESG initiatives). They are looking for someone with experience in consulting or international matrix environments, with strengths in designing and implementing effective processes and modern
procurement tools at a global level.
Job Responsibilities
- Cooperate with the specialist departments, the relevant corporate functions and the regional leaders on various sustainability topics
- Be responsible to develop, create and maintain procurement policies, guidelines, processes, and tools, in collaboration with Regional and Global Functions integrating the ESG criteria
- Drive, support and monitor global implementation of group template and procurement best practices, including training programs
- Bring and integrate new concepts and trends in area of responsibility – digitalization, procurement risk management, environmental and social impact.
- Lead transformation projects in procurement and with cross-functional teams
- Develop a data-driven culture and ensure the availability of up-to-date, integrated, and consistent procurement data.
- Monitor and report on procurement performance, provide recommendations.
- Lead transversal initiatives and drive continuous improvement
Job Requirements
- Excellent communication skills and are capable to animate diverse and demanding stakeholders to foster collaborations, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement
- At least 5 years of experience in procurement - purchasing, sourcing, supplier management
- Passionate in ESG topics
- Fluent in English
