Our client is an international furniture design and distribution company with office in Muar, Johor.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Completes initial validation reviews at new factories to determine their current compliance standing.
Completes ongoing factory reviews to identify compliance violations, determine root causes for the violations, and works with the factory to complete a Corrective Action Plan to address those violations.Trains factory on implementing System-wide processes and forms to address deficiencies in any factory management process.
Fully understands the social compliance audit processes and is able to work with factories in order to help train and guide the factories towards successful completion of customer audits (Ethical Sourcing [ES] / Social Accountability [SA]).
Understands the overall manufacturing process and is able to guide factories in maintaining the factory quality system (Factory Capability and Capacity [FCCA] / Good Manufacturing Practices [GMP]).
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Business Studies or related field.
3 years experience in social compliance, specifically focused on the US national retain chain social compliance audits.
Experience in ISO 9001, 14001, SA8000
Must have the ability to travel extensively and work in factories in Malaysia for extended period of times.
