Job Responsibilities:
- Integrate vision systems with automated processes and motion controls based on model data, including mathematical modeling and software solution development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to gather and validate system requirements.
- Design and develop automated inspection and guidance solutions using advanced vision and sensing technologies.
- Provide hands-on implementation and mentorship to team members.
- Drive innovation in technical concepts, manage project costs, and ensure timely delivery.
- Stay informed on the latest advancements in vision, automation, and sensing technologies.
- Generate detailed design specifications for development projects.
- Offer internal and on-site support during system integration phases.
- Assist in the creation of comprehensive test plans and technical documentation.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in working with vision system databases.
- Expertise in selecting appropriate cameras, lighting, and lenses for applications such as defect detection and part location.
- Strong programming skills in Visual C#, WPF, C++, and Python.
- Experience in developing vision systems with Halcon and Opteon cameras.
- In-depth knowledge of machine vision programming and related disciplines.
- Proficiency in automation controls, motors, and sensors, including PLC, CTC, Beckhoff PC, controllers, servo, and stepper motors.
- Familiarity with wiring and cabling specifications, including sizing, terminations, and load/temperature requirements.
- Strong understanding of industrial machinery design.
- Skilled in statistical analysis and its applications.
