AP Manager
A newly start-up MNC in Batu Kawan is looking for AP Manager to be part of their team. You will be a key part of helping the business to supervise functional financial accounting activities mainly on Accounts Payable
Main responsibilities of the AP manager role
- Oversee functional financial accounting tasks, primarily focusing on Accounts Payable, which involves reviewing journal entries and preparing reports.
- Handle inquiries regarding vendor invoicing and payments from both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure the implementation of effective internal controls and compliance with GAAP, as well as relevant international and local financial and tax regulations.
- Ensure adherence to SOX compliance standards by maintaining updated documentation, providing recommendations, and fulfilling internal control requirements.
Key requirements
- Degree in Finance or Accounting and possess qualifications as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA), or Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
- Familiar with US GAAP, IFRS, and local accounting standards.
- Consistent demonstration of a customer-centric approach toward both internal and external stakeholders, including during Audit/Statutory engagements.
