A dynamic organization who is a general trader is looking for business development specialist who can partner with multiple departments to drive measurable results that benefit the
business in the Chemical and Industrial Materials sector. You will be responsible to expands our existing business and strengthens client relationships, and to achieve trading and sales performance further together with our team members.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and coordinate new business opportunities between company and local potential partners by generating new business ideas and assessing the idea’s feasibility in the area of Chemicals & Industrial Materials
- Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solution
- Identify and reach potential clients, and initiate discussion with them through emails, calls, and scheduled meetings
- Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products or services
- Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders
- Regular or ad-hoc basis market intelligence & report for target market and product
- Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines
- Support on business development process from market analysis, screening and evaluation of opportunities including strategic fit assessment
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree in any fields, especially Business Administrations, Trading, Engineering, or related
- Minimum of 4 years working experience with exposure to multiple industries like Chemicals & Industrial Materials and to diverse business models like import/export, local sales & marketing, and warehouse inventory management
- Experience in identifying new business opportunities across a wide range of industries
- Clear verbal and written communication skills in English with attention to details, and are able to thrive in both collaborative and independent working environments
- Sharp negotiation and networking skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and activities simultaneously
