• Employing specialized dictionaries, thesauruses, translation tools, and reference materials to discover the most precise equivalents for technical terms and vocabulary.
• Utilizing suitable software for formatting and delivering translations.
• Conducting research on legal, technical, and scientific terminology to ensure accurate translation.
• Collaborating with clients or colleagues to address any ambiguities or uncertainties in the text.
• Carefully reviewing and editing the final translated versions.
• Delivering clients a grammatically correct and well-articulated translated text, typically in formats such as word-processed documents or PowerPoint presentations.
• Harnessing the internet and email for research purposes throughout the translation process.
• Prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines effectively.
• Consulting with subject matter experts in technical fields when necessary.
• Maintaining and enhancing expertise in specialized translation areas.
• Executing administrative projects by identifying and implementing new technology and resources, revising systems, and suggesting redeployment of allocated resources.
• Fulfilling department and organizational objectives by achieving related outcomes as required.
