JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Local Roles (Malaysia & Singapore):
Verify and monitor accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and bank transactions.
Prepare submissions for direct and indirect taxes, including corporate income tax (CIT), goods and services tax (GST), withholding tax (WHT), stamp duty, etc.
Compile and generate financial data, and prepare draft reports.
Address queries related to financial data.
Manage AR, AP, month-end closing, and management accounts.
Prepare monthly cash flow statements.
Assist with ad-hoc tasks or reporting as required by superiors.
Regional Roles:
Monitor accounting practices across subsidiaries in Thailand, Taiwan, Malaysia, and the Vietnam Representative Office.
Compile monthly financial reports from subsidiaries and manage consolidated financial reporting for the organization.
Improve accounting systems and processes to enhance business effectiveness and efficiency.
Support and educate employees to ensure proper financial and accounting processes are followed.
Prepare consolidated monthly cash flow statements.
JOB REQUIREMENT
Degree, diploma or equivalent in Accounting, audit or finance.
MIA - Added advantage
Minimum of 3 years experience in APAC
Proficient in Xero Accounting System
Proficient in managing full set of accounts
Understand concepts of taxes (CIT, GST, WHT, stamp duty)
Proficient in IFRS and MPERS
Proficient in Excel formulas
Basic consolidation knowledge
