Senior HR Executive
A rapidly growing MNC in Prai is looking for Senior HR Executive role to be part of their team. You will be a key part of helping the business to oversee and lead all Training & Development activities, manage expatriate work permits and travel visas, maintain industrial relations through grievance handling and counseling, and manage the Boss.net Time Management System, troubleshooting any issues.


Main responsibilities of the Senior HR Executive role    

  • Manage and lead all Training & Development activities within the organization.

  • Conduct induction programs for all new employees.
  • Apply for work permits for expatriates and ensure their validity.
  • Apply for visas for travelers to countries with such requirements.
  • Maintain good industrial relations by handling grievances, issuing warning letters, conducting counseling, and conducting domestic inquiries.
  • Ensure job descriptions and job specifications within the organization are well-maintained.
  • Ensure all employees are covered under the company’s group insurance, such as Group Personal Accident and Group Hospitalization & Surgery Scheme.
  • Assist the HR Manager with company-wide insurance coverage.
  • Ensure adherence to the company’s ISO procedures related to training.
  • Manage the company’s Boss.net Time Management System (part of the HR program) and troubleshoot any clocking issues.
  • Handle long service award mementos.
  • Issue confidentiality agreements to new employees in specified categories.
  • Perform any other duties assigned and instructed by a superior.

 


Key Requirement

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an HR role. 
  • Familiarity with Malaysian labor law. 
  • Knowledgeable in HR functions such as pay and benefits, recruitment, training and development, and disciplinary procedures. 
  • Proactive, accountable, open-minded, and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR software.
