Senior Sales Engineer
A dynamic global leading company specializes in developing innovative equipment and services across several sectors, including compressed air and gas solutions, vacuum solutions, industrial tools, and construction and mining equipment is currently seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join their esteemed organization.

Key Responsibilities for Senior Sales Engineer
  • Generate new customer leads and achieve sales targets to expand market share within the country.
  • Acquire and apply in-depth knowledge of assigned products to drive independent, productive business outcomes.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of product lines, company sales philosophy, and policies.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, adjusting strategies to meet or exceed budgeted results.
  • Prepare weekly sales activity reports, develop strategic action plans, and provide feedback on competitor activities.
  • Research competitors’ products, pricing, and market success to gauge customer preferences.
  • Develop and implement innovative sales strategies to reach sales objectives.
  • Oversee internal sales administration and monitor the activity and condition of the rental fleet.
  • Deliver sales presentations to potential and existing customers, assess their needs, and promote products and services accordingly.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing activities, events, and webinars.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts and business terms with prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate client records in CRM (Salesforce) for effective reporting and quotations.
  • Submit sales contracts along with purchase orders and deposits when required.
  • Follow up on monthly collections and outstanding dues from customers.
  • Address client inquiries regarding credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
  • Coordinate with the Service Operation Team, subcontractors, and customers to ensure equipment is inspected, recorded, and maintained throughout the lease period.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and emergencies related to rental services to resolve issues and concerns.
  • Handle customer complaints promptly and professionally to ensure continued customer loyalty.
  • Enhance industry knowledge by attending workshops and reading professional publications.
  • Mentor new sales team members and share knowledge and experience.
  • Develop solutions to optimize team performance and potential.
  • Create an inclusive and motivating environment to encourage team collaboration and excellence.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and sales territory plans.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of machinery, including engine and electric motor-driven equipment.
  • Experience with industrial rental equipment.
  • Understanding of sales processes and dynamics.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with customers and suppliers.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
