Test Engineer
An established EMS company, seeking talented individuals with an innovative mindset to join their Engineering team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Continuous improvement to improve Test equipment performance to meet Safety, Quality, Productivity and Cost indicators' goal.
- Attend to escalation from Technicians and troubleshoot the down testers from the area where you are assigned to.
- Good debugging skills and able to guide technicians on debugging.
- Write failure analysis reports and debug guideline.
- Perform detail investigation and problem-solving data analysis to ensure tester is up and ready to support production.
- Able to lead and provide coaching and training to sustaining and manufacturing workforce to improve technical competency
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision and lead a small team of workers to support factory tester install to meet critical schedule.
- Implements Preventive, Predictive Maintenance Programs and repair jobs.
- Develop test environments and test cases for all mechanical and electrical systems
- Analyse test results, detect issues and track root causes
- Build automated testing systems for regular checks
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role
- Familiarity with various testing techniques
- Knowledge of schematics circuit theory.
- Component and PCBA level troubleshooting experience
- Great troubleshooting skills on test equipment
- Good debug analysis
- Bachelor/master’s degree in Electrical / Electronic / Microelectronics Engineering.
- Extensive knowledge on tool and equipment installation and qualification for Test and Metrology equipment will be an added advantage
- Additional certification in Quality Assurance is a plus
