Main responsibilities of the General Manager role:
Develop mid-term business plans for the Malaysia subsidiary, encompassing market analysis, organizational structure, resource allocation, P&L analysis etc.
Develop organizational strategies aligned with business plans and structure the organization accordingly.
Attend and contribute to board meetings and shareholders’ meetings, effective communication with company secretaries, financial management, and creating internal operation rules.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
Foster a positive and productive work environment.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior management role within the medical industry.
Proven track record of successful leadership and team management.
Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial planning.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
