Ranked among the top 30 general construction companies in the world specializing in the design, construction, and project management of state-of-the-art data centers is looking for experienced a MEP Manager to join their team on a full-time basis based in their Kuala Lumpur office.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversee and manage all aspects of MEP Services throughout the end to end project lifecycle including design, tendering, estimation, procurement, engineering, project construction, and commissioning of a Data Centre
Design and manage data center project mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire suppression.
Assist with new project tendering and M&E subcontract procurement.
Oversee M&E budget, schedule, and resources.
Manage MEP Services design, tendering, estimation, procurement, engineering, project construction, and completion of a Data Centre, through on-site coordination meetings.
Collaborate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure MEP works met contractual commitments.
Oversee and assist team members with shop drawings, BIM models, material procurement, and coordination.
Coordinate and assist clients with design issues preparing for local authority submission.
Deliver the MEP system related design preparations, design review, shop drawing review, interfaces, coordination, planning, procurements, site supervisions and commissioning.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
At least 3 years’ experience in managing M&E projects, preferably in Data Centers
Familiar with BIM/REVIT and other MEP relevant design software.
Be based in Kuala Lumpur but open for site visit travel to project sites located overseas if required in the future.
