OVERVIEW:  
Our client is a transportation manufacturer specializing in innovative designs, including hybrid and electric models. They focus on the distribution, manufacturing, and assembly of vehicles in the Southeast Asian market. Currently, they are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and management of their Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance. This role also involves leading quality assurance processes, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.


Job Responsibilities:

Quality Management System (QMS):
  • Develop and maintain the QMS in compliance with ISO 9001 and relevant standards.
  • Ensure processes meet customer and regulatory requirements.
Audit Management:
  • Lead internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Implement corrective actions to address non-conformities.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and other quality tools.
  • Focus on reducing waste and enhancing process efficiency.
Supplier Quality Management:
  • Establish and enforce quality standards for suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier audits and collaborate on quality improvements.
Regulatory Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.
  • Stay informed on regulatory changes impacting quality management.
Team Leadership and Development:
  • Manage and mentor the quality team, fostering professional growth.
  • Promote a culture of quality throughout the organization.
Customer Interface:
  • Act as the primary contact for quality-related customer issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complaints.
Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain thorough records of quality activities.
  • Report quality metrics and performance to senior management.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field; Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
  • 8-10 years of experience in quality management, including 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • ISO Lead Auditor certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven success in developing and executing quality management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving abilities, and knowledge of quality management tools and regulations.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
  • Adaptable and aligned with the company values and goals.
