Senior System Application Engineer
A pioneering force in the realm of advanced battery technology in Penang is seeking a Senior IT Security Operation Engineer.
Job Descriptions:
- Support development and reporting for Factory system in manufacturing environment.
- Report Analyst / Developer will work with business to understand needs.
- Research the data available to understand best source of data to meet needs.
- Provide local technical support of in-house built and purchased applications. Duties include deploying new releases, troubleshooting user issues, configuring servers and monitoring error logs.
- Image data specialist (DIIS data from zone 1 cameras)
- Code deployment.
- Server configuration troubleshooting
- Jira development / administration
- Script development
- SPC support and deployment
Job Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in programming, development in manufacturing environment.
- B.S. computer science or equivalent
- Strong SQL skills for querying data and aggregating as needed for reports.
- Strong MS Excel experience including macros and data sources.
- Prefer Power BI experience.
- Strong analytical skills. Ability to translate business needs into technical queries.
- Programming experience in Python or C# (prefer experience in both)
- Experience setting up and maintaining IIS installations.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting experience in applications running in IIS
- Experience working in manufacturing environment in support factory systems
- Expert in writing and maintaining system level documentation
- Experience with the software development lifecycle
- Ability to write clear system documentation that provides unambiguous system definition to developers and user community
