Company and Job Overview
A rapidly growing company in Bayan Lepas is seeking for Accountant to responsible for various costing functions, inventory management, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, managing accounts receivable, reviewing distributor claims, assisting with audits, and supporting new system implementations and projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible to ensure timely submission of company’s financial reporting according to group reporting deadlines. This role requires at least 5-10 years of experience in costing function.
Costing functions such as inventory combined file, standard cost amortization, variance analysis, cost summary review, etc.
Assist in Annual standard cost updates in Oracle system.
Inventory E&O provisions, account reconciliation, in-transit review
Discrepant Material Requisition (DMR) validation and review process.
Subcon inventory reconciliation
Month-end close in Costs
Return Material Authorization (RMA) accruals and review.
assist in inventory and distributors audits. minimal travelling needed.
Assist in rebates, authorization and payment, customer sample accrual, revenue forecast for management reporting.
Month-end close in Revenue.
Manage Accounts Receivable including collection, cash application, credit limit, invoice transmission, dispute resolution
Review and manage distributor's Ship & Debit claims and distributor inventory reconciliations.
POS review, upload and validation.
Assist in liaising with auditors on specific item related to duties specified.
Assist in New System implementation and projects.
Job Requirements
Degree in Accounting / Finance
5 to 10 years working experience, preferably Big 4 Accounting firm
