A rapidly growing MNC in Kulim is looking for Accounting Manager role to be part of their team. You will be a key part of helping the business to manage the accounting department and supervise daily accounting activities.
Main responsibilities of the Accounting Manager role
Lead the accounting department and oversee daily accounting operations.
- Prepare and review the full set of accounts, ensuring financial statements comply with Malaysia GAAP, and submit necessary financial reports to government authorities.
- Manage tax compliance in Malaysia.
- Spearhead the implementation of the ERP system for the accounting team, including establishing and enhancing internal control procedures.
Ensure compliance with internal and external financial audits.
Key Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Detail-oriented, with strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
