COMPANY OVERVIEW
A trading firm with nearly 350 years of history and operations in 25 countries is expanding its market share in Malaysia by engaging both new and existing customers. They are seeking an Assistant Sales Manager to oversee the revenue of their TRUSS DECK solution system in the construction industry and be based in Kuala Lumpur.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the design, selection, and specification of Truss Deck products for construction projects.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the Truss Deck product system, solutions, and specifications, ensuring compliance with local building codes and standards.
- Provide technical support and structural calculations for design drawings and detailing of Truss Deck solutions.
- Analyse the market to promote and upsell products such as metal roofing, lightweight trusses, and structural decking based on project requirements.
- Collaborate with architects, consultants, quantity surveyors, engineers, and developers to secure specifications for major projects.
- Develop industry knowledge to meet client demands effectively.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or a technical sales role related to truss, structural design, or construction materials.
- Proficiency in Mandarin will be advantageous
