We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Japanese client company as a Manager in the Iron & Steel Product Division within the Automotive industry. As part of a leading organization in the field, this role involves overseeing the trading of iron and steel products in and out of Malaysia, including import and export, with a primary focus on the automotive and general industries.
Job Description:
- To handle trading of iron & steel products into and out of Malaysia (import & export) as well as its domestic business, mainly related to automotive and general industries.
- Manage reliable supply chain for automotive related steel industries to sustain current value chain.
- To develop new business models and to expand automotive and end user market related steel business with domestic and potential business partners.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Business or equivalent.
- Good academic result. 2nd Class Upper (CGPA 3.00) and above.
- Candidate with minimum 3 years of working experience in trading companies.
- Proficient in spoken and written English.
- Working experience as a trading business consultant
- Working experience in supply chain support
- Applicant who can speak Japanese is an added advantage
- Candidate with working experience in export/ offshore/Import in Automotive/ general industries is preferable
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Possess strong mentality and perseverance, independent, self-motivated.
- Possess challenging spirit and creativity.
- Must be Responsible, meticulous, with a positive working attitude, strong teamwork skills, ethical mindset, mature and confident disposition.
- Salary will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
