Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and write CNC programs for a variety of machining operations, including milling, turning, and drilling.
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to determine machining processes and tooling requirements.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring proper functionality and accuracy of programs.
- Conduct test runs and make necessary adjustments to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standards.
- Optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Maintain and update CNC programming documentation and records.
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot CNC machines as needed.
- Stay up to date with advancements in CNC technology and programming techniques.
- Take on additional responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or an associate degree in CNC machining, manufacturing technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, with a solid understanding of CNC machining processes and equipment.
- Proficiency in CNC programming software, including Mastercam, G-code, CAD/CAM, and other relevant tools.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models accurately.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and strong teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures within a manufacturing environment.
