JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Credit Management: Develop and enforce effective credit control policies to minimize risks from credit sales. Track accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts
Collections: Create and implement effective collections strategies, including follow-up protocols, payment plans, and dispute resolution.
Promoting high-performance culture by leading, mentoring, and develop a team of credit control and collections officers
Involve in customer relationship management, establish and maintain strong customer relationships, address customer inquiries and disputes in timely manner
Prepare regular reports on collections performance and aging
Analyse trends in credit and collections performance, offering actionable insights and recommendations.
Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in credit management and collections.
Identify potential risks in credit policies
Collaborate closely with various departments, including sales and finance, to align credit control initiatives with business goals.
Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize operations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance & Accounting, or any related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in credit control and collections management
Minimum 1 year of experience in team lead or supervisory role
Candidate with experience in hire purchase or auto loan will be added advantage
Deep knowledge of credit management principles, financial analysis, collection methods, and legal compliance.
Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with customers and colleagues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to lead and inspire a team, promoting a cooperative work environment.
