Job Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization’s objectives and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to drive digital transformation initiatives.
- Act as a key advisor to the Exco on strategic IT planning and industry trends.
- Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Promote continuous improvement through training programs and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Budget Management
- Manage/oversee the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
- Project Oversight
- Manage/oversee IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Technology Evaluation
- Assess and implement new technologies to enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.
- Security Management
- Ensure and direct cybersecurity measures of IT systems and data, implementing best practices and compliance with regulations.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies.
- Implement and manage access controls, transport management, and secure communication channels.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with other departments to understand their technology needs and provide effective solutions.
- Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Coordinate staff augmentation efforts to support dynamic business needs.
- Oversee corporate licensing and contractual obligations with third-party providers.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Extensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cybersecurity.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
- Experience with SAP systems, cloud computing, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of IT governance and compliance standards.
